Miitel 22 is a standard material produced in-house by The Kalassay Group.
It was derived from ore-grade stock derived from the Miitel Mine near Kambalda
in Western Australia.
An extensive process of pulverising, homogenising and further pulverising was
undertaken before the standard was packed into sealed containers.
The material was now ready for analysis.
Aliquots of this material were anlaysed repeatedly at different times, to arrive
at the 95% confidence levels listed below.
Other aliquots of the material were sent to a host of other laboratories as
a blind samples for confirmation analysis and to validate the expected values
already determined.
The values which were reported back aligned with the in-house work and the standard was deployed for use.
This standard has been in use for over two years and has served well as reference within Sulphide Nickel ore-types.
