Sending Overseas Samples to Kalassay

Sample Manager - Client Access

Kalassay currently operates two Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS):

CCLAS operates at our Leonora Assay Laboratory
Sample Manager operates at our Kalgoorlie Assay Laboratory

Sample Manager is a very sophisticated software package, which easily handles the complexity of our Kalgoorlie Assay Laboratory's many analytical methods. It also has a web-based client access module, which Kalassay have now deployed.
Clients are now able to log into this system via our webpage and view the status of recent analytical batches.

This service is free to clients of the Kalgoorlie Assay Laboratory

Instructions

Go to The Kalassay Group Home Page
Click on the Sample Manager icon

Kalassay Home Page

This will bring up the Sample Manager Log-In Screen

Sample Manager Client Screen

Enter your User Name and Password in the text box

Sample Manager Login Screen

This will bring up your Main Page in Sample Manager

Back to Top

Click on "Active Jobs" to bring up the overall view of your most recent jobs

Select Active Jobs

This "Overall View" will display:

> Job Status
> Job Name (assigned by client)
> Job Name (assigned by Kalassay)
> Number of samples in the job
> Date of Job Creation (inside Sampler Manger LIMS)
> Date of Samples Being Received into Sample Manager LIMS)
> Date of Data Authorisation (when results were e-mailed to the client)

Job Status Overview

If you click on "Details" you will be taken to a screen with more information on that particular job.

Select Job Details

This screen will display:
> Job Status
> Sample Name
> Sample Type
> Date of Job Creation
> Date of Sample Receival
> Date of Data Authorisation (when results were e-mailed to client)

Job Details

The Sample Manager Client access area uses a letter code to signify the status of a particular job or sample.
